How Karuna Reiki Aid the Globe?

Friday, December 31st, 2010

Karuna can be a Sanskrit word and is utilized in Hinduism, Buddhism and Zen. It signifies any motion which is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as “compassionate motion.” As ?we assist other folks and aid them in their healing method, or as we seek to heal ourselves further, Karuna Reiki assists in opening several new doors.?
It is also the motivating quality of all enlightened beings that are working to finish suffering on Earth. They continually send an unlimited quantity of healing energy and guidance to us, but not all are receptive to it. As you develop Karuna in your self, not just are you helping others, but you also turn into much more receptive to the Karuna which is being sent by all enlightened beings. Thus your personal recovery is quickened as well. ?Karuna Reiki opens you to work more closely with all enlightened beings. This contains those enlightened ones already who are present in each bodily too as people inspirit. Probably the most significant power component of it really is when the Karuna Reiki Master begins to direct the increased energies in a very more integrated, conscious dance with Spirit.?
For people in a very healing apply, Karuna Reiki Master is really a method to enhance your therapeutic apply. Developed for Vitality Workers, it has two attunements and many new treatment symbols. Those that obtain the attunements report experiences with their guides and a therapeutic presence. The Reiki attunement is nearly often a very particular spiritual expertise for the receiver and sometimes also for the Master.?Reiki 1 – rewards physical entire body
The Reiki one attunement would seem to mainly benefit the bodily entire body in opening it as much as channel much more Reiki power. Once someone is attuned it will by no means lose the capacity to use Reiki. In Reiki 1 the history of Reiki as well as the hand positions are taught. You will find normally 4 initiations for Reiki one (depending on method there may be less initiations). A Reiki attunement takes about 20-30 minutes and is really a very relaxing and helpful encounter.?
Reiki 2 – rewards subtile entire body?
The Reiki 2 attunement provides an even higher achievable level of vitality vibrations in the student. Here someone also learns three Reiki symbols: The Power Image, The Mental Symbol as well as the Distance Image these may be utilized to assist individuals to focus power for particular purposes. For Reiki 2 there’s usually only one initiation. The Reiki 2 attunement appears to have the greatest impact on the sub tile entire body also identified inside the western world as the Aura.

Information About Reiki Training

Friday, December 31st, 2010

Reiki Training is unlike training in the traditional sense of the word.

Of course there are some things which are memorized and learned, stuff like the Hand Positions and the meanings of the symbols, but more then anything else Reiki is an intuitive form of healing. And because of that the actual book learning is is quite brief.

In reading about this subject you will have come across the reiki attunements and it is the attunements which make reiki stand out from other forms of training.

The attunements which are spiritual exercises open you up or introduce you to Reiki.

There is an attunement for each level and there are 3 levels of training.

Each level of reiki training is designed around a limited amount of study, the attunement for that level and then practice.

When you have been attuned and as you practice Self Healing, giving Healing to others and meditating upon Reiki you will come to understand Reiki much better.

You understanding and ability to use reiki will deepen as you continue with the further attunements, and soon you will be using it intuitively.

Responsibility and intuition are very closely linked, so you will find that as you can take more personal responsibility for the healing you are performing the more your intuition will kick in.

So you can see from that that training is quite different to others forms of training.

But the only way to actually learn a spiritual practice it through intuition. What you will learn in your training is only the beginning. The training and learning about the symbols is only a pointer.

Formal Training.

Out of all the people who have written about reiki, Dr. Usui probably wrote the least and in my view the best.

The point is that while it is a good idea to see what others have written, there is a possibility of overload.

Because the is very little written material in the courses the emphasis is always upon the student to intemperate it.

As with any subject you might study you will find many differing opinions and different stresses and importance’s placed upon those opinions.

New branches of reiki have been created by some masters.

Some have changed the training schedule and added more levels.

Which is right and which is wrong?. We can look and see where they all stem from and that place is Dr. Usui.

All I am saying here is that if you are going to study the subject it is a good idea to start at the beginning.

Then if you feel the need to branch out further I’m sure that you will find many avenues to explore.

The fundamentals Of Reiki Training.

Because there is not a lot of basic information, learning the basics is rather simple and the basics consist of .

1. The meaning of the word reiki
2. The reiki symbols
3. The Reiki Hand Positions
4. The three attunements
5. The reiki principles.

Those are the 5 core elements of reiki training and should be well learned by the student.

Once you have those and have practices and performed regular self healing you will know reiki. At this point you will notice that you are not thinking about what you are doing. You will find that you are simply doing it.

Other forms of Reiki training is always interesting but the above points are indispensable.

Relaxing Into Reiki – Part 2

FUTURE OR PAST EVENT
Reiki distance healing energy can be sent to a past or future event. A childhood trauma can be relieved of its grip on a suffering adult. An important exam or presentation can be performed with a commanding calmness. A Reiki II trained police officer can send Reiki into a home where a disturbed individual is about to harm themselves or others. Reiki sent to hospice patients could reduce the pain and anxiety of those about to expire. Peace would replace fear. One preparing for surgery could experience less pain, lose less blood, and have a faster recovery. I choose the word “could” because the use of the energy is determined by the recipient’s soul. The only guarantee is that the Reiki energy is going to the highest good…it is always does.

What Is Reiki? …And How Can Energy Healing Help You? Part 2 of 3

Thursday, December 30th, 2010

Reiki is a natural healing system that millions around the world are using to balance energy, remove stagnant energy, and restore peace and harmony in the body, mind, and spirit.

Since the methods were rediscovered and renamed Reiki by Dr. Usui, people in nearly every country of the world are again using “the laying-on-of-hands” method for healing the physical body in one form or the other.

Many registered nurses, as well as massage therapists are finding that Reiki is the perfect compliment to their hands-on health practice.

Reiki Helps To Create A Balanced Environment

A balanced environment within one’s being is important so that healing can take place. Healers who have been attuned to the Reiki healing “flow” find that their natural healing energies have been enhanced. They also describe their healing energies as being more powerful and directed than before. Many traditional health practitioners are adding Reiki to their credentials.

Reiki Is Transferred To Students By A Reiki Master/Teacher

The Reiki master passes the training through a series of attunements. During the attunement process, sacred healing symbols are sealed into your energy field, so that you can flow the higher vibrations of energy. The attunement process opens you up permanently to the Reiki energy so that you can give Reiki treatments to yourself and others.

When you are attuned you become an open channel (or pipe) for the Reiki energy to flow through to yourself and others. The energy gently and constantly circulates in your body filling your heart area first, and flows out from that point on through your hands. When you place your hands on an object, whether it is a person, a pet, your plants, your food, or a crystal, the healing Reiki energy flows into that object as well.

Reiki raises the vibrational frequency of the person receiving the treatment.

Sickness is low vibrational frequency.

Wellness, health and joy are higher vibrational frequencies.

Three Benefits In Learning Reiki:

1.You will not use your own energy to heal others. You will always use the Source energy. You’ll be taught how to protect your own energy and not get drained when healing others.
2.You will not take on other peoples’ problems as your own.
3.Reiki will not harm anyone. The Reiki energy is always a benefit to the recipient. The more practice you get, the more benefit there is. Just like any tool you use, it gets better and better with practice.

Reiki works well with all healing modalities traditional and alternative, such as: nursing, massage therapy, Acupressure, Acupuncturists, Bach Flower, Chakra Balancing, Chi Gong, Chi Kung, Chi Nei Tsang, Cosmic Energetic Healing, Laser Reiki, Crystal Work, Dowsers, Essential Oils, Falun Gong, Feng Shui, Flower Essences, Gemstone Therapy, Healing Touch, Body workers, Homeopathic Medicines, Hypnotherapy, Tai Chi, Vibrational Healers, Yoga, Hellerwork, and all Holistic activities.

These healers above are adding Reiki certification to their tool kit. Mothers, kindergarten teachers, and schoolteachers are also learning Reiki because it makes their jobs easier.

Understanding Reiki Healings – Part 1 of 3

Wednesday, December 29th, 2010

World’s oldest and most well known energy healing method is “Reiki.” It is believed to have started in India over 4000 years ago It uses subtle energy as a method to deliver the Reiki healings. Quantum physics proves that energy movement, thoughts, focus, prayer, and intent can change the physical reality.

Reiki healing is a natural holistic therapy that gently balances life energies promoting health and well-being to the recipient. It supports spiritual growth and emotional clearings. Reiki will do no harm. Reiki practitioners are taught to focus only on the well-being of their clients.

Thoughts are things (thoughts are the building blocks of our reality.) Positive thoughts are uplifting while negative thoughts are downers. We all know that’s the way it works!

Reiki is not New Age. The word “Reiki” is just a word meaning energy healing in Japanese. Its teachings and methods of healing the body predate Buddhism, Christianity and many other known religions. It hasn’t always been called Reiki but its methods have been around a long time.

Reiki healing is thought to be thousands of years old, known by many names (chi, ki, holy spirit, etc.) and its healing complements both Eastern and Western medicine. Everybody can benefit from it and everybody can do it, even small children.

Reiki is a method of application for flowing healing energy. The healing treatment is performed by the focused intent. Laying on-of-hands, touch of the hands, healing touch, quantum touch and/or just holding the hands over the client, are ways the Life Force Energy is transferred. The Reiki practitioner allows the flow of the energy from a limitless source(God Force) through his or her hands to the client. The client’s job is to desire a healing and be open to receive.

There Are Formal Studies To Teach You Reiki Healing

You become Reiki by taking a class from a Reiki Master where the activating symbols are passed into your energy field. (It’s like putting software into a computer.) Everyone naturally flows this healing energy as part of their spiritual make up but to flow it in the large quantities necessary, one must go through formal training and be attuned to this extra energy.

There are Reiki Masters in most every country of the world. Reiki is an extremely powerful, yet gentle energy that can be easily flowed to yourself and others, just by thinking Reiki and thinking that your intention is to flow the healing energy.

Reiki healing is truly a system of attaining and promoting wellness and wholeness of mind, body and spirit. This simple, non-invasive healing system works with the Higher Self of the practitioner to promote health and well-being of the entire physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychic body.

The Reiki Healing Health Benefits:
1. Releases depression, anxiety, stress, and tension
2. Creates deep relaxation and a feeling of inner peace
3. Dissolves energy blockages
4. Accelerates healing ability
5. Aids restful sleep
6. Helps release the cause and habit of addictions
7. Relieves headaches, back pain, leg pain, bursitis, etc.
8. Brings about a higher state of consciousness

The greatest Reiki healing health benefits are said to be the release of anxiety, stress, and tension. The Reiki treatments promote relaxation, peace and harmony, which trigger the body’s natural healing abilities, and improves/maintains health and well-being.

Reiki For Dogs: The Basics Of Holistic Dog Medicine

Wednesday, December 29th, 2010

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) comes from the Japanese Rei and Ki meaning spiritually guided life energy. Reiki for dogs is a form of spiritual healing that helps harmonize the mind, body, and soul of your pet. It can be used as a treatment for relaxation as well as a tool for releasing negative emotions and limitations.

Reiki for dogs can treat many ailments that may be currently inhibiting your dog, whether noticeable to you or not. It can reduce stress, relieve pain, headaches, stomach upsets, asthma, back problems, sinus, respiratory problems, canine hip dysplasia, anxiety and many more. After performing your first session with your pet, you will see instant results of using Reiki for your dog.

Reiki for dogs is performed with a fixed set of hand positions. Each position is formed to create a specific desired energy outcome to ultimately bring your dog into balance. To understand how to use Reiki for your dog it is important to know the different charkas that are connected to the physical organs of the body as well as the aura.

There are seven centers of energy in your pet. Reiki for dogs focuses on changing the energy from one center to another to bring about balance. The hand positions control the Chi and ultimately free your dog’s aura while allowing for a continual energy flow. The seven centers consist of the Root chakra, Navel chakra, Solar Plexus chakra, Heart chakra, Throat chakra, Third eye, and the Crown chakra. These charkas are specifically connected to different glands in your dog. Reiki for your dog will make the glands release hormones directly into the blood stream and control all aspects of your dogs daily activities and healthy thinking.

Freeing the aura is a major part of using Reiki for dogs. Before Reiki, your dog’s aura might only extend a few decimeters outside the body. After performing Reiki on your dog its aura will resonate about 2-3 meters. There are several different layers of body in the aura that Reiki will expose for your dog.

Physical Body: the most tangible part of your dog’s body. Here, Reiki for your dog will ease some of the most common fears about the physical body-sickness, aging and death.

Etheric Body: connected to the Root chakra, it is made up of a thin invisible layer that is only 2 cm thick that surrounds your dog’s body. This is where the energy is reflected when Reiki for your dog gets it flowing from chakra to chakra. Many of your dog’s dreams are found here.

Emotional Body: connected to the Navel chakra it serves as an egg shaped emotion reflector that contains the other two bodies. Emotions like hope, happiness, love, anger, and sorrow are all found here. Reiki for your dog can release these emotions from past problems your dog has suppressed and create an empty canvas for your dog to express freely.

Mental Body: connected to the Solar Plexus chakra, reflects logic, mind, and intelligent thinking. Reiki for dogs helps shape their reality.

Astral Body: the bridge between the spiritual realm and the physical world. Reiki for dogs will help them express unconditional love.

Etheric Template Body: connected to the Throat chakra, this is where your dog has its thought processes. Reiki for your dog will connect its past, and present to its future.

Celestial Body: connected to the third eye chakra, mirrors the subconscious mind. It uses your dog’s intuition to bring about higher feelings. Reiki for your dog will allow your pet to have a love that goes beyond individual to universal.

Casual Body: connected to the Crown chakra, is the last body where the initial creative impulses begin. Reiki for your dog will have your dog’s soul communicating with its conscious mind and mental body.

Reiki for your dog is a gentle but powerful healer. It will balance your dog’s energy, organs, and glands. Reiki for dogs has proven to strengthen immune systems, relieve pain, clears toxins, and enhances personal awareness while relaxing your dog.

Reiki – The Energy Which Heals The Body

Wednesday, December 29th, 2010

I discovered Reiki almost 10 years ago when I was living a period of stress. At that time I could not believe that healing can be possible through something invisible and untouchable. Two people put their hands just over my body and after several treatments during the day I felt like a new person in the evening.

How is healing made? People use the chakras of their hands to transfer energy to the chakras of other people`s body. A chakra is a point of energy located in a specific position in our body.
We have many points of energy (points where energy comes in and goes out). The Chinese medicine reports much over these points. These points are several and energy passes through them along energy lines. Among these, there are main points that are called Chakras.

There are seven chakras in the body of each of us. It is curious but seven are the fundamental colors and musical notes. In fact all in the universe is governed by waves which are characterized by seven frequencies.
When we sing the seven musical notes we excite our chakras. This is the best method to use to identify our chakras.

Reiki has in the centuries become a sort of medicine and those who are trained can with the time become expert in collecting energy from the universe and transferring it to other bodies. This is the basic principle of Reiki: get energy and transfer to other.
One can also get the energy from the universe through his hands and transfer it to other own chakras. You get the energy in the chakras of hands and transfer e.g. to the chakra of the stomach. But this process is not easy to do. You need training and a long term exercise.

There is also another important aspect to consider. To be successful, Reiki needs that the healer and the person to be healed are relaxed. A first section of meditation is recommended.

There are some reasons why Reiki became so popular in these days. First of all anyone can do Reiki receiving an attunement. It is not needed to develop the ability as for other disciplines where the use of meditation or other techniques are requested. All Reiki techniques are passed on from teachers to students through an attunement process starting with the one who first channeled the technique. Finally there is not need to drive the energy, with Reiki the energy flows spontaneously guided and goes where needed. Moreover, thanks to all of these characteristics Reiki becomes popular because cannot provoke pain or damages.

Those who do Reiki experience a non-invasive form of healing and realise an increase in energy in the body and mine and a better state of health. Their way of living is more relaxing.

The students start their activity with an initiation to become a channel for the Reiki energy. In the initiation the action is called “attunement” and the beginner undergoes as many attunements as they are necessary to make the energy flow through his/her body. The next step for the student is to know how to make Reiki treatments.

With the first level the students is able to do Reiki with the use of hands, hands-on Reiki. With the second level the students learns how to Reiki from remote: long distance or remote healing. The final level is for those who want to become Master Reiki, i.e. Reiki teachers.

Reiki – the Re-discovered Art

Tuesday, December 28th, 2010

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness, that most frightens us…..

Nelson Mandela

1994 Inaugural Speech

A Japanese system of natural healing called Reiki is based on channeling healing energy through the hands. This healing art was lost for centuries but was rediscovered by Dr Usui in the early 1900′s in Japan. Reiki is a special kind of healing energy that has its own consciousness. The practitioner does not guide Reiki energy.

This healing energy guides itself by communicating with the clients higher self and goes naturally to where the client needs healing.

When a practitioner of Reiki, is doing a healing they sometimes feel heat or cold or tingling in the hands when the hands pass over an area that needs to be healed. The Reiki energy will automatically go where the healing needs to be done.

A Reiki Practitioner does not need to learn how to do Reiki as you would learn other healing techniques. Reiki is simply passed on to the student through a Reiki Master. This is called an attunement. The Reiki master uses different symbols to pass on for different levels of Reiki. There are 3 levels of Reiki and the Master Level.

It is a very simple and easy process. The student can immediately start giving Reiki treatments. To start giving the treatments the Reiki Practitioner draws the symbols for what level they are at, in the palms of the hands to activate the healing energy. Your intentions alone can activate the energy itself to do a healing. The Practitioner

is shown where to place the hands on the person to be healed. Then the healing Begins. When you are healing with energy time and space are irrelevant. Therefore Reiki Healing can also be sent at a distance. This is called long distant healing.

In 1938 Mrs Takata brought Reiki to the western world. After the second world war Mrs Takata was the only practicing Reiki Master in the world.

She was the only teacher to be taught from and she was very rigid in her teaching trying to keep the tradition going. Some students became more concerned in keeping the tradition they ignored there own intuition and inner knowledge.

In 1970 to become a master she would charge a fee of $10,000 dollars for the Master Level training. This would discourage many would be teachers. She discouraged students to expand their many different levels of guidance. Her way would be the only way.

Eventually Reiki lost some of it vitality for each teacher passed on a little less than the time before. As time went on and more teachers were trained the price to become a master went down. The nature of the Reiki energy began to heal its own expression. Deeper aspects of healing began to surface. Reiki was found to heal deeper and deeper.

Students were being allowed to branch off and listen to their own guidance and healing techniques. They began experimenting, adding knowledge and talking and exchanging information with others.

By doing this depth was added to their understanding and they developed their own style, improving the effectiveness of their own healing abilities.

Because people have opened up Reiki has been able to evolve, develop and grow.

Reiki heals and guides all those who practice it. To choose a teacher you want to pass the attunements on to you use your own guidance and be aware of what this persons energy feels like to you, Then decide.

Stress Management and Reiki: Restoring Balance through Energy Work

Tuesday, December 28th, 2010

We live in a hectic world, where the affects of acute and chronic stress can have serious impacts on our health. Although conventional and alternative medicine offers many options for stress management, there is an ancient healing technique that works especially well: Reiki energy work.

What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese energy technique that produces a relaxation response to reduce the feelings of stress. Reiki practitioners are trained to tap into the Universal energy force and, by the laying on of hands, transmit healing energy to another person or animal. The premise of Reiki, which is a very spiritual stress management technique, is that it increases your life energy. Reiki is considered to be a holistic therapy because it addresses the mind, body and spirit.

While Reiki is spiritually based, it isn’t associated with any specific religion. That’s why there are no intellectual or spiritual requirements to give or receive Reiki. In other words, you don’t need to have any particular beliefs about religion (or any beliefs at all) to either benefit from it or practice it.

Because Reiki is based on the principles of peace, harmony and balance, anyone can learn it. Although it’s a simple technique, the process must be passed on from a Reiki master to her student during a process called “attunement.”

What to Expect During a Reiki Treatment

During a Reiki treatment, you should be fully clothed and will usually lay flat on a massage-like table, although seated or standing positions can be used in a pinch. It’s important to be comfortable and warm, so let your practitioner know if you need to adjust your position. (Simple things, like placing a pillow under your knees to relieve low back pressure or adding a lightweight blanket, can increase your comfort level.)

When the Reiki session begins, your practitioner may close her eyes and take a moment to gather her own energy before placing her hands on or near your body. As the treatment progresses, your practitioner will move her hands along your body, concentrating on areas that relate to your specific issues. When using Reiki for stress management, for example, your practitioner may spend extra time around tense neck and shoulder muscles. Although even a few minutes of Reiki can reduce stress, a typical full-length treatment can last anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes.

A full-length Reiki treatment should make you feel extremely relaxed and may even cause you to fall sleep. You should be able release the tension being held in your body as you reach a new level of peace.

Why You Should Choose Reiki for Relaxation

Reiki practitioners believe that negativity doesn’t exist solely in the brain. Instead, they believe that negative thoughts and feelings are also stored in other areas of the body and in the body’s surrounding energy field (known as the aura). When negative energy collects in and around the body, the flow of life force, or Ki, is restricted. This results in headaches, body pains, feelings of stress and, if left untreated, more serious physical illness.

The healing energy of Reiki is guided by a Higher Intelligence that intuitively understands how to release restrictions to the flow of Ki. This energy is able to work in harmony with the unconscious mind to dissolve negative thoughts and help remove them from the body and its aura. As these energy blocks are cleared, your Ki begins to flow unhindered, sending the healing life force to unhealthy bones, organs and tissues. With a consistent treatment plan, Reiki allows your body to heal itself and restore optimal balance and function.

Although people with serious health problems should consult their doctor before undergoing treatment, there are no known side effects associated with Reiki, which is proven to be a safe therapy for people in all stages of wellness or ill health.

Stress management is often a lifelong pursuit that requires an entire toolbox of traditional and alternative therapies for maximum relief. Consider incorporating Reiki treatments into your self-care regimen. The only thing you’ve got to lose is a little stress!

The Anugraha Reiki System of Healing

Monday, December 27th, 2010

Anugraha Reiki is one of the many forms of the popular Reiki system of healing. Reiki has its origins traced back to Japan where the practice was developed by a Tendai Budhhist named Mikao Usui in 1922. He was said to have discovered the technique after a 21-day retreat on Mount Kurama.

After undergoing meditation, fasting and prayer during the retreat, Usui claimed to have received some mystical revelation and was handed down the knowledge as well as the spiritual power for healing.

Reiki has been known to be fairly easy and simple to use. Everyone is said to be able to employ the system to achieve spiritual healing of self as well as others. Teaching the system usually involves three parts which are better known as degrees. The first degree usually teaches the basic theories and procedures with using Reiki energy.

This energy is said to pass through a channel in the body which can be opened by way of four “attunements” given by the Reiki master to a student. The first degree of training also involves the learning of certain hand placements that allow the Reiki energy to heal people.

The second degree of the Reiki training involves the use of the Reiki symbols and how they can be used to enhance healing. Students are also taught how to provide distant healing. This will allow people to be able to heal others without being physically present. The third degree of the Reiki training involves making the student become a Reiki master. As a Reiki master, a person may now be able to attune others to Reiki and teach the system to others.

Different forms of Reiki now exist and each one of them provides different ways of providing spiritual healing. One of them is the Anugraha Reiki which is a mystical healing art that originated in India. The word “Anugraha” means Grace, which is considered as one of the five functions of the Divine that ultimately leads to Liberation or “Mukti”. Anugraha can also refer to the Power of Revelation. On another level, the word can also relate to Mercy.

Just like the Japanese form of Reiki, the first level of Anugraha Reiki focuses on self healing, self awareness, replenishment and perfecting relationship. A Diksha or attunement is given to help activate seldom used parts of the brain. A simple yet advanced spiritual practice is taught to help transform a person’s consciousness and result to deep states of awareness within 30 days.

The second level of the Anugraha Reiki focuses on healing others. During this period, sacred sounds are being taught that is said to help invoke positive consciousness. An advanced form of meditation is also taught. A type of special mantra used to invoke the presence is taught along with the techniques for doing healing work both through personal and long distance means.

The third degree initiation of Anugraha Reiki involves the teaching of the esoteric use of important Reiki symbols that can be used for different means such as for astral projection, meditation, altering time or space, bridging the worlds of life and death, and easing the transition process. There are two additional master symbols are also revealed.

For a student to succeed and qualify for the third degree of teaching, he or she should already be relatively clear of his or her own physical and psychological suffering.
