What Is Reiki? …And How Can Energy Healing Help You? Part 3 of 3
January 9th, 2011Ever since men and women were thrown out of the Garden of Eden it has been necessary to heal the body. Life then became hard. Those people were taught how to heal
Reiki Heals Pain And Depression
January 9th, 2011Reiki treatments (hands-on-healings)will remove and dissipate stuck emotions(energy blockages) – usually the real cause of imbalances in all areas of our lives. Higher energy heals and releases lower energy (negative emotions, pain, etc.). Higher energy flows out the hands of a Reiki practitioner. When an application of Reiki is placed on a sore spot, an injury or on a person with a disease, the higher energy (God force energy) is stronger than the lower energy. Which wins? The higher energy wins and therefore heals the injury, etc. It is natural law!
Reiki is simple, easy and natural. It is stupid not to use our God-given abilities or to be afraid of things that might be called “super natural.” If it weren’t natural we couldn’t do it, and it couldn’t exist. We may not understand how it works but that doesn’t make anything supernatural!
What About Fear, Worry, Blame, Doubt, Rage, Anger, Anxiety, And Stress?
Persons who begin to lose hope about the future have negative energy. Compound this with physical injury, trauma, negative thinking and bad feelings, the person begins a downward spiral. They become an attractor (the Law of Attraction) for even more low vibrational feelings such as fear, worry, blame, doubt, rage, anger, anxiety, stress, tension and negative self-talk. They may suffer from lack of nutrition. Because of their low energy they are choosing to eat devitalized, overprocesed foods.
I’ve seen whole-body Reiki dissolve energy blockages over time healing any physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues. Long-term practice of hands-on-Reiki will restore the general well-being of the body. It will open the energy channels, thereby allowing the body to deal properly and naturally with the stress that seems to come with living in a physical body.
I’ve also seen very fast recovery. There is an advanced form of healing energy called “Laser Reiki” where the practitioner can clear the “root cause” of energy blockages in just one to two sessions giving wonderful results. Laser Reiki is said to be 10 times faster than conventional Reiki because it uses a higher form of the energy as predicted in quantum physics.
Traditional reiki directly aids the physical body by:
1. Improving circulation
2. Reducing blood pressure
3. Harmonizing the endocrine system
4. Aiding in digestion
5. Reducing inflammation of joints
6. Reiki heals Present, Past and future problems
7. Helps with acute injuries i.e., broken bones
8. Eases the symptoms of asthma, MS, fibromylgia, etc.
9. Helps relieve pain in chronic dis-eases (disease)
When Already in Good Health Your Health Just Gets Better With Reiki Treatments
When a person is already in good health, it increases vitality and postpones the aging process. One should choose regular reiki sessions because it will energize the body’s immune system. If the immune system is up (meaning higher frequency) a person cannot come down with SARS, Ebola, or any other dread disease — manufactured or naturaly occurring.
The continued use of Reiki therapy when you are not sick will manifest itself as self-confidence and self-assurance. Other people will want to be in your presence and be attracted to you because they can feel that you have something special. And they want some, too!
Life will keep getting better and better with Reiki because it connects you directly with even more of the Life Force energy many call God. Even though Reiki is made up of the Life Force called God, Reiki is not a religion but a way to be permeated with that Force. You’ll have more peace and harmony in dealing with everyday events. You will gain a more positive outlook on all aspects of life.
Reiki Healing Is A Tool That Combines With Other Modalities It’s an energy healing method that enhances the performances of doctors and nurses in taking care of their clients on all levels.
Reiki is a method that can be used with any other allopathic, alternative or natural therapy, i.e., massage, yoga meditation, gems and crystals, essential oils and aroma therapy, Bach Flower remedies, homeopathy, healing touch, quantum healing, energy medicine, Chinese medicine, holistic therapy, etc. Reiki will enhance their effectiveness in promoting general well-being.
Gendai Reiki is a popular form of Reiki that is used in Japan
January 8th, 2011Gendai Reiki is a type of Reiki that combines traditional methods with specific types of healing training methods that can be used for more recent types of practices. By focusing on spiritual concepts which were taken from ancient Japan, this method allows those interested to use Gendai as a healing method.
The originator of Gendai Reiki in Japan is Heroshi Doi. He was a part of the original system and its founding. The meaning of Gendai is modern and relates to the methods that he established with Reiki. Gendai Reiki, then, can be referred to as a modern style of healing.
There are several unique aspects to Gendai Reiki. Traditional methods are the basis and start for Gendai. Ancient methods and other healing disciplines are incorporated into the training. The method deciphers between these different healing methods by relating it to healing through spiritual means. By keeping this focus, it allowed for the methods in Gendai Reiki to be moved through with this goal.
There are four levels of Gendai Reiki that are taught in Japan with this method: Shoden, Okuden, Shinipiden, and Gokuikaiden. These levels are divided into levels 1 and 2 and master levels 1 and 2. The focus in each of these levels is not only to incorporate what is use in traditional Reiki, but also an incorporation of other spiritual practices that relates to this. At each of these levels, students will be offered attunements, as in the other levels. These are defined in Gendai as empowerment techniques. Unlike regular Reiki, these attunements focus on the spiritual as well as the physical healing aspects, making the attunements vary slightly from person to person.
As time moves on, several traditions have emerged which have changed with the genesis of Gendai Reiki. The founder of this Reiki continues to find improvements to the class and implements different spiritual levels while taking out older traditions in relation to this. Because of these changes, Gendai is constantly adding new techniques, allowing for continuous growth in healing methods and channeling universal energies.
If one is interested in Gendai Reiki, they can either research an area where it is offered, or they can find more details through the book “Modern Reiki Method for Healing.” This was written by the founder and allows for one to find out what the general concepts are in this style of Reiki. The philosophies presented in here allow for a clear focus of what is accepted and what is looked down upon in Gendai Reiki.
Gendai Reiki, while incorporating several techniques from traditional Reiki, challenges the concepts to move a step further and focus on spiritual methods of healing as well as methods using universal energies. By incorporating these two methods as well as using ancient types of practice, Gendai Reiki is able to help one in understanding several different concepts for healing.
Gold Reiki Practice focuses on a Certain Universal Energy to Help With Healing
January 8th, 2011After the formation of Reiki by Usui Reiki, several other forms of Reiki were developed by devotees of the practice. Each of these, while holding the traditions of Reiki, has used different powers and energies in order to help encourage the healing process. One type of these new forms of Reiki that has become popular is known as Gold Reiki. This specific Reiki practice focuses on a certain universal energy to help with healing.
The practice of Gold Reiki does not differ greatly from traditional Reiki, but it does have a special emphasis on a specific source of energy that it calls on from the Rei, or universal energies. This call on those energies is known as the Golden Ray. The Golden Ray has several specific qualities and attributes that can be used in order to focus healing energies on a person.
The first attribute of the Golden Ray is in relation to purification. It is known that this energy can cleanse out certain blocks of energy that are in a person very easily. Because it is associated with a pure form of energy, it is said that it can move into one and cause a higher vibration of energy to move through that person, which will cause the healing.
A second attribute of the Golden Ray that is used in Reiki is being able to transform darkness and fear attributes. It can move these with its energy source into forms of light and happiness inside a person. If you are having problems with phobias, depression, etc. then using Gold Reiki as a source will help you to solve these problems.
There are three major attunements that are used when learning Gold Reiki. These will open certain channels where the Golden Ray energy can move in relation to your energies while allowing you to relax. If you decide to use these attunements on your own, then it is best to use each one in a period of five days. This will cleanse out each chakra one-by-one. After the last attunement is achieved, you can call on specific universal energies to help with your healing.
If you are interested in learning about Gold Reiki, you can go one of to several places on the web, or in your local area to find one who is trained with this universal energy. There are several places that offer home study, as well as private training. By learning this, you will know which attunements and symbols to use in order to call on the Golden Ray energy in your Reiki healing sessions.
The use of Gold Reiki is not as common as other forms of Reiki. Its purpose is to focus on the specific universal energy of the Golden Ray. But Golden Reiki is valuable to you because it helps focus on specific forms of healing; Golden Reiki will help you to move past some energy blocks that are in your body.
Gold Reiki deserves research if you would like to release your energies and improve your life.
Reiki Courses and Levels
January 8th, 2011Reiki (pronounced ray kee) is a Japanese word made up of two characters, rei meaning spirit and ki or life force. The term is usually translated universal life energy or life force.
The closest parallel in Western philosophy to the practice of Reiki is faith healing or the laying on of hands in a spiritual sense. The Reiki practitioners believe the the life force is channeled through the bodies to the hands where it can be sent into the body of the client or patient. This is done through two processes, first attunement to receive the flow of the life force by the Reiki master, then the positioning of the hands and sometimes other parts of the body such as the eyes or the breath to channel this flow to the patient.
Those who wish to become Reiki therapists under traditional Usui Reiki must learn from a Reiki master in an unbroken line from the original Grand Master. According to traditionalists, Reiki cannot be learned; it must be experienced.
All training courses in the United States originate from the Grand Master, Mrs. Hawayo Takata who claimed to be a student of one of the students trained by Usui. Although some of her claims are not able to be confirmed, such as the statement that no Reiki Grand Masters in Japan survived World War II, she trained at least 21 masters in the years between 1970 and 1980 in the traditional Usui method.
Even amongst traditionalists, the Reiki course will differ somewhat, as some Masters do not teach students to pass on the method to others, only to use it in healing. Others insist to be recognized as a Master, the student must be able to teach the techniques.
The traditional Reiki course consists of three levels, Levels I and II can usually be mastered in one 6-8 hour session for each component. Level I for example would include information about the history of Reiki, a ceremonial process called attunement, which is a structured formalized series of movements, chants, hand positions and touching, provided by the Master to each of the students. There are four attunements during the Level I course. Also included in Level I is practice of the hand positions required for Self-Attunement and later, practice of the same hand positions as they are used on another person. The Level I Reiki is completed with the first session.
Some people elect to stop at Level I, but others choose to continue to Level II Reiki. The second course is taught in two 3 hours sessions, sometimes separated by over night, but at least 2 hours must elapse between the first and second sessions in order to provide learning and memorization of the names and descriptions of the Reiki symbols. These symbols are important to the practitioners and must be called and drawn correctly so that they may be visualized correctly when applying attunement or therapy to oneself or to others. Two more attunements are given during the Level II course.
At Level III, a divergence of opinion among Masters occurs. Some treat Level III as a continuation of Level II with additional emphasis on both the symbols and channeling the life energy, as well as practicing distance healing; while others believe that to complete Level III, sometimes called Reiki Master Level, the student must successfully teach others the techniques of Reiki.
What is Reiki, and How Can it Help you Heal?
January 7th, 2011In a nutshell, Reiki is a healing art that can help people with various types of physical and emotional healing needs. It involves the healer placing his or her hands on or over the client without actually manipulating any parts of the body. You may have seen similar healing modalities such as healing touch and therapeutic touch. But Reiki is not the same thing. Nor is Reiki the same thing between its practitioners. The oldest and most potent form of Reiki is formally known as The Usui System Of Natural Healing According To Hawayo Takata. It is called this because it was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan and was developed by Mrs. Hawayo Takata. ?Reiki? was the word Dr. Usui used to describe his discovery. Since being introduced by Takata to the United States in the 1970s, Reiki has become diluted and intertwined among other ?healing? arts and modalities. Some people have even ?invented? their own styles of Reiki.
But what is Reiki, really? How does it work? That is summed up in the word itself. ?Ki? is the word to describe the universal life force that keeps everything alive and in motion. Ki, or chi, is the force that gives your heart the energy to beat, your lungs to breathe, your brain to think, and for you to become inspired. ?Rei? means ?movement.? Thus, we have the practice of moving the life force energy in order to create a healing effect. We all have the ability to do this to some degree. We always feel just a bit better when we hold our ankle for a while after tripping off a curb. A child feels more soothed and happy when we hold our hand over his or her cut finger. In effect, we are moving energy to create healing. The Reiki practitioner is specially attuned to do this in a much more magnified way, and the magnification of the moving force of energy has many implications. It can help a headache to go away. It can help a deep cut heal without scarring. It can help a person concentrate better while studying. And it can help a person overcome deep emotional hurts. It is a powerful healing force that balances the energies within the body to bring a state of wellness to all of its parts and to the whole.
A complete Reiki session is best performed in a relaxing environment, a quiet studio or office with soft music or sounds that are pleasing to the ear. The client lies on a massage table but is not unclothed at all. The practitioner then places his or her hands on or over different body areas, twelve on the front side of the body and five on the back. Even though no private areas are involved, the client has the right to let the practitioner know on which areas they do not feel comfortable being touched. In that case, the practitioner can hold his or her hands over the area, and the client receives the same healing benefit. A complete session lasts anywhere between sixty and seventy-five minutes, depending on one?s specific needs. Personally, the longest session I ever performed was two hours in length. The practitioner will hold their hands over a certain area longer if they sense that more healing energy is needed in that area. During the session, both the client and the practitioner may feel different sensations in different areas of the body, such as extreme warmth, tingling, or a deep relaxation. These sensations are clues as to where the healing energy is needed and indicate that the energy is definitely working. If a person is receiving a session because of emotional or subconscious needs, they may experience feelings of emotional ?release? and relief. After the session, one definitely feels that something has changed for the better.
At the Sufletesc Center located in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota, I practice the original Usui System Of Natural Healing According To Hawayo Takata. Since I began practicing Reiki in June of 1998, I?ve taken care of many people who have said to me that they have been to other Reiki ?practitioners? but somehow felt an enormously powerful difference between what I did and what they received from others. I then explain to them that there are different types of Reiki out there, and what I do is the unadulterated version. This leads to the discussion of what is involved in the training of a Reiki practitioner. First of all, you CANNOT learn Reiki in an all-in-one weekend that costs only $100. I have had Reiki ?Masters? (teachers) ask me about things that I do that they never learned. In the original Usui system, there are three degrees of practice. The First Degree practitioner works with physical conditions. The Second Degree practitioner can take care of emotional and subconscious healing matters and can even perform healing sessions in-absentia (from a distance). Then there is the Master level. While the practitioner is complete in his or her abilities at the second degree, the Master is the one who attunes and teaches others. The cost of training in the original method is $150 for First Degree, $500 for Second Degree (after a three month training period), and, after a three-year period of practice, one can become a Reiki Master for $10,000, which entails a lengthy, detailed apprenticeship.
The most important thing for you to know is that it can help you no matter what ails you, what bothers you, what pent up emotional disturbances you may suffer from, or what strange addictions you may have. It is also beneficial to the person who wants to maintain their state of wellness. Many hospitals offer Reiki to their patients to help them relax before a procedure and to heal faster afterwards. There has even been a study done several years ago at the Cleveland Clinic Heart Center in Cleveland, Ohio proving that people who receive Reiki healing do recover faster from open heart surgery. Several other studies have been conducted since that time. When I am caring for a chiropractic patient who is experiencing a tremendous amount of muscle tension and mental apprehension, I place my hands on them for several minutes, if they are willing to accept the treatment. This relaxes the patient, which allows the chiropractic adjustment to be delivered with greater ease and less stress. Reiki has helped me to be a better chiropractor. It can certainly help you to be a healthier person!
The Origin of Reiki
January 7th, 2011Reiki is a very simple and efficient healing system with the imposition of hands. Many people struggled to discover the origins and the age of Reiki. It is not very easy. Much useful information has not been translated into English yet and some even have never been written. The history of traditional Reiki starts in 1800, although it is assumed to be quite older. The information available before the written texts, available only through the canalization, is theoretic, yet amazing and stimulating. Although this information is not proven it is very interested and cannot be neglected.
Many people, interested in Reiki, or canalization experts affirm that the human being history started on another planet and the human race has been brought on Earth. Translators of ancient texts are verifying these theories. We have to say they are really courageous. Someone affirms that the Reiki technique originated on the same planet where Gods with many hands were born on the Earth planet. This is also part of the ancient Indian culture. According to this culture the god Shiva brought Reiki on Earth and he wanted to be remembered for this.
The human body was created to be compliant to the characteristics of the Earth planet and Reiki was embedded in its genetic code. As a consequence, Reiki is part of us. Everyone has Reiki inside. Time ago was universal and was created to be used. The kids of one of the first civilizations, Mu, got the first level Attunement of Reiki at the beginning of the primary school, while the second level Attunement at the beginning of the secondary school. The Master level was only for the teachers but was available for everyone.
When this people left the land of Mu to go to places like India and Tibet, Reiki remained with them, even when Mu disappeared. The changes on Earth, when Mu and Atlantis disappeared, created several cultural imbalances, and Reiki was patrimony of only few people. In 1800 a Japanese men discovered that the healing method of Jesus and Buddha was similar to what Shiva has brought on Earth, and it was written in the Indian esoteric doctrines.
The history of Traditional Reiki started around the middle of 1800 when Mikao Usui, chancellor at the University of Kyoto, in Japan, and also Christian priest, started a research to discover which healing method Jesus used. The Christian authorities told him that little was said about this method and little was known. Usui started then to look for useful information within Buddhism, as there were several affinities between the life of Buddha in India and that of Jesus in Palestine. Unfortunately the Buddhist monks told him that the ancient healing method was lost and the only way to know them was to follow the instructions of the Lightening Path.
Mikao Usui went and lived in the USA for seven years. He applied at the theology faculty of the University of Chicago where he would find what he was looking for. He performed studies and comparisons between religions and philosophies, but he did not find the answers he was looking for. Then he came back to Japan and was remembered as Buddhist monk in a Zen monastery. The Reiki Master William Rand discovered that Usui was never chancellor of the Doshisha University neither student nor professor. Also it is not proven that he was at the University of Chicago. We may think that the Christian part of his life is an invention by the western people to justify the power of Reiki in the United States.
By the way Mikao Usui found some writings in the Zen monastery. In this writings there was the description of the healing formula. There was no information regarding the method of activation and use of the energy.
To comprehend the content he studied Sanskrit and then he discovered that the formula was very easy. He meditated three weeks, did fasting and prayed on Koriyama Mount. One day he saw a light beam towards him. The beam hit his Third Eye and he lost acquaintance for a while. When he woke up again he saw the Reiki symbols on a screen. While watching them he received the information to attract the healing energy. In this way the first Reiki Attunement occurred, first psychic re-discover of an ancient method.
Reiki Treatments For Different Ailments
January 7th, 2011Reiki treatments are considered as a holistic, natural way for energy healing. The direct meaning or translation of Reiki is traced back to two Japanese words. One is Rein which really means free passage and the other is Kid which means vital life force energy so together, the words mean universal life energy because it is believed that this powerful energy refers to the life force that permeates throughout the universe.
The main goal of a Reiki practitioner is to correctly channelize this positive and powerful energy through the position of the hands so that the body natural capacity for healing is triggered on. This is one of the best things about Reiki treatment because a practitioner is able to share positive energy flow with someone who needs healing on many different levels such as physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. That said, it is important to reiterate that no guarantee is ever provided to assure a person that complete cure would happen but the belief is that cure will definitely happen.
Reiki healing is a natural process that propels an awareness of wholeness, balance and inner peace so as to combat stress. This is why Reiki treatments are mostly referred to as hands on, energy giving treatment with the ability to treat a whole person body, mind and spirit in total harmony.
The Reiki treatment begins as the healer rubs both hands together. Then the hands are placed on the body of the recipient or even just above the body of the recipient so that the healing takes place without any kind of obstruction.
Be aware of the fact that the reiki healing is packed with positive energy so that it can easily heal whatever part of your body, mind, or spirit is most in need of healing. During the sessions for healing, it is natural for both the healer as well as you to experience prickly sensation or cold feeling or maybe no feelings at all. Reiki energy will adjust itself to this kind of varied intensity depending on the needs of the recipient.
Reiki treatment heals in the following way:
* It relaxes at a deep level
* Gets rid of energy blockages
* Helps to detoxify
* Offers new and positive energy that is propelled by universal life energy
* Enhances the vibrational frequency of the body of the recipient
* All kinds of stress related diseases including headache, migraine, sinus, asthma, allergy, arthritis, back pain, diabetes, blood pressure, gastric ulcer, hepatitis, menstrual problems, scleroderma, sinusitis, spondylitis, and many other diseases.
* The negative energy that is usually the result of conventional medicines such as chemotherapy or AIDS related medication can be easily avoided as there are no side effects in Reiki treatment.
Reiki healing is unique because powerful energy transmitted from a competent healer to a recipient irrespective of distance as well because telephonic healing is also possible. Note that this treatment of Reiki is not linked with any religious or spiritual path so it is effective to treat everyone.
Treatment with Reiki is a positive way to promote peace, relaxation and stress reduction. This powerful treatment can be used on other forms of life as well such as plants, animals and in earth healing.
For pregnant women as well, Reiki treatment is suitable because it helps to alleviate morning sickness and back pain without much difficulty. This treatment works really well for physical, mental and emotional aspects so it helps in overall healing.
What is Reiki?
January 6th, 2011Reiki is a spiritual practice developed in 1922 by Mikao Usui in Japan after he encountered the power of Reiki on a retreat in Mount Kurama. Mikao Usui started the Reiki revolution in Tokyo, leaving it to spread throughout the world to spiritually heal and improve the lives of communities worldwide. Reiki is now practiced by thousands and has received both praise and criticism along its path of spiritual healing and development.
Although no scientific evidence can prove the positive workings of Reiki, Reiki is still viewed as a natural and safe complementary technique. Initiating spiritual healing and self-improvement, Reiki has been identified as a positive technique for relieving side-effects, reducing stress and promoting recovery with or without the assistance of medical treatment. Nevertheless, one should always consult a medical doctor prior to booking a session with a Reiki practitioner if chronic illness is suspected or exists. Reiki should never be viewed as a replacement for medical treatment but rather as a complementary technique to medical treatment. Ongoing sessions are usually required for improved results and it is essential to have at least 3 sessions of Reiki when a chronic ailment is being addressed.
So how does Reiki work exactly? Reiki utilizes spiritual energy to create a healing effect on mind, body and spirit. It is believed that anyone can have access to this energy through a process of attunement. When visiting a Reiki professional, you will be asked to lie down clothed on a massage table and relax. There will be little or no talking during the treatment and the practitioner will either place his hands on you in various positions or hold their hands a few centimeters away from your body. Energy flows through the practitioners hands and aids in increases the energy in the affected areas. When our energy is low, we are more likely to become sick and stressed. There are approximately 20 Reiki positions that can be used and an entire treatment can last up to 90 minutes in length. A warm sensation in the treated area as well as a feeling of deep relaxation can be experienced during and after a session of Reiki.
Reiki can also sometimes be confused as being a form of religion; however it is simply a spiritual technique that can be practiced on anyone coming from any background or belief system. There are however 5 principles, called GOKAI which are principles that are followed by most Reiki practitioners. These are: do not be angry, do not worry, be grateful, work with integrity and be kind to others. It is believed that to aid in the evolution of body and soul one should go through this list every morning and evening.
A simple Reiki routine that could be worth a try if wellness and self-improvement are on your to-do list for the year.
Reiki
January 6th, 2011
For those who partake in alternative medicine, Reiki is a powerful compliment to all therapies whether traditional or non-traditional. Whatever the case may be Reiki is a practice that can bring body, mind, and spirit into balance.
What is Reiki?
In 1922 a Buddhist monk named Mikao Usui meditated for 21 days atop Mount Kurama, Japan. It is said that during his retreat that the concept of Reiki healing was given to him through divine inspiration. Later that year he established the Usui Reiki Healing Society in Tokyo.
The name Reiki itself is made up two Japanese words. When combined these words literally translate to “guided spiritual life force energy”. The energy generated by the practitioner is said to come from the divine and not the practitioner themselves.
This would mean that the energy is pure and inexhaustible. The energy transmitted during the session is also deemed “intelligent” and travels to the precise area in need of healing, even without the practitioner or recipient being aware of it.
How does Reiki work?
Reiki can be performed over the whole body or over a specific area. The practitioner can use a touching or non-touching technique, where the hands hover over the recipient’s body by a few centimeters. In either case the goal is for the flow of energy to be released through the hands of the practitioner and penetrate the body of the recipient.
The length of a Reiki session lasts from 45 to 90 minutes. The practitioner’s hands stay over each area of the recipient’s body for 3 to 5 minutes. Reiki can either be performed traditionally with set hand positions or informally where the format is more open.
There is a second level of Reiki that allows for healing over a distance. This is accomplished by using three special symbols that aid the practitioner to connect with the recipient. This means that healing may be performed no matter the location.
Can I perform Reiki on myself?
The energy involved when performing Reiki makes it an excellent candidate for self-healing. In fact it is said that when a practitioner generates energy for a healing it enters through their crown Chakra in turn providing them with healing while healing the recipient.
The Reiki technique is simple and powerful. Practitioners attest that the concepts surrounding Reiki are so wholesome and safe that even children can learn to heal. Reiki has no side effects and can be used on anyone one in any social setting, even on plants and animals.
How can Reiki help?
Reiki is used for many types of ailments both physical and psychological. The flow of divine energy creates a chain reaction in the body that promotes healing at all levels. This domino effect can be blocked however if the recipient is not open to the receiving of the energy.
Reiki is a holistic approach to healing and deals with the human body, mind, and spirit as a complete system. Therefore it is effective in all arenas of healing and compliments modern medical treatments. Reiki is not promoted to replace other forms of therapies but encouraged as part of a comprehensive health strategy.
