First Degree Reiki or Shoden is all about connecting with the Universal Lifeforce Energy, learning about chakras, energy meridians, and beginning your own healing journey. In this in-person course, you will learn the history of Reiki and how to  expand your mindset to allow you to channel the energy effectively.  It is also an introduction to the spiritual aspects of Reiki practice. You will be guided to develop your own intuition, meditation practices and how to perform Reiki on yourself, your loved ones and your pets.  Reiki is not taught like other healing modalities may be. It is transferred to the student by the Reiki Master during an initiation or attunement process. This process opens your crown, heart and palm chakras and creates a special link between the student and the Universal Life Force Energy that is Reiki. This course includes your first initiation or attunement into Reiki, certification and a Level 1 manual.  This is a 1 day course providing a thorough introduction to Reiki. The class is fun, interactive and explores not only the techniques and principles of Reiki but will give you valuable tools of empowerment for the next chapter of your Reiki journey.  Class sizes are kept small and intimate to allow maximum time for practice.
